We are now actively seeking "hardcore" raiders to fill out our raiding group. This team will consist of 30 players who are reliable, make raid times, stay for the entire raid, and most importantly pay attention. This group will run kara for badges as well as heroics dailies and ZA every time it is possible. Once the team has every piece of badge and ZA gear they can use, the team will be making forays into Mount Hyjal. We will be skipping Mags/Gruuls/SSC & TK in order to advance to state of mind and gear that will enable us to progress rapidly through the expansion when it arrives. For more info, read this.

No More Calendar?

We currently have a few members (quite a few oddly) that are all on vacation or a trip of some sort right now, so we have been a little slow the last few days. Once some of these people get back, I would like to start making forays into SSC. That being said...

I am looking for 2 Raid leaders to run SSC / TK progression raids. Right now it seems like the most people are logging on on tuesdays and thursdays, so that may be when Progression raiding is scheduled in the future, but for now it is going to have to be on the weekend, as most of our guild works and/or has school in the mornings on weekdays. I will make a forum post in the "applications section" shortly, so if anyone is interested in Leading Guild Progression Raids, please apply asap so we can get this underway.

Oh, and as for the calendar? I have removed the Guild Raid calendar from the front page of the website because we're using the in-game "Group Calendar" to do sign-ups, and I feel this is more convenient for most people for now. So make sure you get it and use it. Besides, no one was signing up on the website for raids anyway. =(

Looking for New "Late Night Group" Kara Raid Leader.

I'm looking for someone who knows Kara like the back of their hand to lead our "B group" aka: late nighters group. Applicants must be able to lead a kara raid, know all bosses and be able to be nice and not get me bombarded with complaints about their leading style. Preferably your leading style will be one where you don't blame anyone for a wipe (unless its retardedly obvious) and just get back on the horse and do it again. You must also be able to be online from about 7:30 ish pm till really late...I'm guessing a good time would be about 2 or 3 am, or whenever the group thinks its bed time. This groups raid time start will be about 8:30p on two different weekdays . Said days are TBA.

I'm going to be super super picky about this, so picky in fact that even after I pick someone I might replace them , and then replace that guys too. So in addition to all the above requirements, the applicant also needs to be able to handle being replaced very gracefully and not take it personally. Who knows, I may replace the 3rd guy with the 1st guy again....

After results are in we will have a very short meeting one of these days and then I will update the calendar and guild FAQ accordingly. If you dont vote, you have no room to complain that the times or days don't work for you.

We have recently garnered enough members (again) to begin raiding something bigger than 5 man heroic badges..Yay! Please be sure to locate and download the latest version of the Group Calendar addon. As of this post, the current version is 4.0. We will be using this as well as the raid calendar on this website to coordinate and schedule raids. Soon, I am told, the raid calendar built into this website will be able to sync up to the in-game group calendar addon that we use. Cant wait!

I will be setting up our own vent server within the month, I am hoping that us having it will enable others who are already paying to have their own vent servers (there are at least 2 that I know of) to be able to no longer need to pay for them if they so choose. That being the case (hopefully) please feel free to donate to our vent fund, you will see a donation link on the left of the main page here. If would help me offset the cost of the website and vent (once I get it set up). thanks in advance.

PS: as for the title of the news alert....We need a few healers and tanks...3 tanks and 4 healers would be nice. But I'll take what I can get so long as they are decently geared and skilled =)

Sammael - Literally "Angel of Poison" is the Angel of Death in many RL religions. As a person lies on their death bed, the Angel stands over them with his sword drawn, holding the tip of the blade just above their mouth. From this blade drips a lethal poison for which there is no antidote, and but a single drop will kill. It is said that Sammael becomes visible to those about to die, and the looks of abject horror on the faces of the deceased is attributed to seeing him in their final moment.

And so, by extension...

The Blade of Sammael is that which brings death. So to be a "Blade of Sammael" is to be a bringer of death. I.E.: to be a Sammaels Blade is to be, in effect, a "Grim Reaper".

Addons to D/L

I have a few add-ons stored on our guild website. Once i figure out how to offer direct links to them I will, but until then, try to find your way to our "hosted files" section and grab whats there if you don't already have it.

Also - any time you pug an instance - be on your best - pugs are the best place to find new recruits. If they dont have a guild tag, and they seem like the kind of person we want, feel free to ask them about joining. If you cant invite, contact someone who can for a little chat with the prospective member.

Please take the time to make a user account and please make your usename/login the same as the online name of your main toon. There is a Forum thread for saying hello already - check it out.

All donations for a vent server (and helping me with this website) are graciously accepted via paypal. Theres a link on your left if you feel so inclined.

We will start raiding as soon as we get some more people. We got the skills, just not the cannon fodder. I mean victims. oops, I mean new members.
